How we protect donors
One legal recipient
Global Fund for Assistance Inc. (EIN 86-3361537) receives contributions and retains exclusive legal control over the funds it receives. Any organization, fund or cause you select is a donor recommendation, not the legal recipient.
Payments handled by regulated processors
Card and PayPal payments are processed entirely by PCI-compliant payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers, and no payment credentials are collected on our own forms.
Reviewed organizations and funds
Organizations in the directory are researched from public sources, and community fundraising pages are reviewed by our team before they can be published or accept donations. Anyone can report a page for review.
Receipts and records
Every completed gift generates an emailed receipt issued by Global Fund for Assistance Inc. (EIN 86-3361537). Donations are received by Global Fund for Assistance Inc. and may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Consult your own tax adviser about deductibility in your country.
